The counselling space is a confidential environment. What you talk about in your session will not be repeated, discussed or misused outside of the session. The very occasional exception to this is if there is a serious concern to yours or someone else’s risk of harm. In this event I will discuss with you how and when this is disclosed to keep you or the other person safe. For clients under 18 the same confidentiality policy applies. I will not discuss the contents of the session with parents or caregivers unless I consider there to be a safeguarding requirement to do so. This ultimately protects the crucial confidence of the therapeutic relationship.
Online sessions can be delivered on Whatsapp video, Facetime or Zoom.Please make sure you have a private and suitable room for the session. Face to face sessions will be delivered at the agreed location.
Fees are charged at £65.00 per 50 minute session.
Payment will be taken by electronic funds transfer at time of booking.
Payment will only be returned upon 24 hours notice of cancellation or in the event of therapist cancellation.
I am DBS certified and hold civil liability insurance. I am an accredited member of the counselling society and adhere to the code of ethics.
